About Me

headshot In my private practice, I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing emotional or behavioral issues of all kinds.  I specialize in empowerment, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life stage issues, and survivorship.

Therapeutically, I use an eclectic blend of approaches and take a holistic view of well-being, based in the awareness that the body, mind, and emotions are inextricably connected.  Together, we will develop a treatment plan that reflects your goals and which is specifically tailored to your needs, including modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT-informed), Empowerment and Strengths-based approaches, Attachment and Interpersonal theories, Trauma-informed approaches, and Neurologically-informed approaches.  If you have any questions about these therapies, please don’t hesitate to ask me.

I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Rutgers University, where I specialized in Adolescents and earned an academic certificate in Violence Against Women and Children.  During my clinical training, it was an honor to work directly with homeless youth at Covenant House’s Crisis Center in Newark.  Through that experience, I built a strong foundation of trauma-informed clinical interventions, including interpersonal, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy and complimentary approaches such as equine assisted therapy.

I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), a Certified Telemental Health Provider (CTMH), and a Certified Holistic Health Coach.
